Informational Use
News, commentary, aircraft encyclopedia entries, specifications, history, directories, live aircraft features, and Flight Board information are provided for general informational and educational purposes. They may be incomplete, delayed, inaccurate, or changed without notice. Verify important information with an authoritative source.
Reference Data
Aircraft specifications can differ by model, variant, operator, configuration, modification, measurement method, date, or source. Do not use encyclopedia content instead of approved flight, operating, maintenance, manufacturer, or regulatory documents.
Live and Nearby Aircraft
Aircraft positions, identifiers, routes, altitude, speed, status, or emergency squawks may come from adsb.lol or other feeds and depend on aircraft equipment, receiver coverage, filtering, networks, processing, and availability. Data may be missing, delayed, duplicated, or incorrect.
Never use site data for navigation, air traffic control, flight following, operations, emergency response, search and rescue, security decisions, unlawful surveillance, or another safety-critical activity.
Airport Flight Board
The Flight Board may provide departures, arrivals, times, flight numbers, airlines, destinations, origins, terminals, gates, delays, cancellations, or other status through AeroDataBox where identified. Information may be delayed, incomplete, incorrect, or no longer current.
Always confirm travel information directly with the airline or airport. Do not rely on The Aviation Diary as your only source for check-in, boarding, departure, gates, terminals, delays, cancellations, or travel decisions.
Directories
Airport, museum, and airshow listings may use official sources, public records, organizers, datasets, or submissions. Confirm important details before traveling. A listing is not an endorsement or guarantee of access or event occurrence.
Acceptable Use
You may not disrupt the site, bypass security, introduce malicious code, overload services, attempt unauthorized access, impersonate others, submit unlawful or infringing material, harass or endanger others, misuse aircraft or location information, facilitate unsafe or illegal conduct, remove ownership notices, or republish substantial protected content without permission.
Accounts and Submissions
If accounts, comments, or community features are available, you are responsible for your activity and account security. You must have rights to material you submit. By submitting material for publication, you allow us to host, reproduce, format, edit, display, and promote it in connection with the site, subject to any separate agreement. We may moderate, decline, or remove submissions.
Intellectual Property and Third Parties
Original site text, graphics, branding, code, design, and compilations are protected by applicable rights. Third-party photographs, video, trademarks, datasets, maps, aircraft data, flight information, and embeds remain subject to their owners’ rights, licenses, and terms.
The site may include third-party APIs, feeds, links, analytics, and advertising. We do not control their availability, accuracy, security, policies, or conduct.
Availability, Warranties, and Responsibility
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the site without notice. The site is provided on an “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, accuracy, completeness, currency, or freedom from errors.
To the extent permitted by law, The Aviation Diary is not responsible for losses or harm arising from reliance on site content, live aircraft data, Flight Board information, third-party services, unavailable features, or user submissions. Nothing excludes responsibility that cannot lawfully be excluded.
