What Is the AH-64 Apache?

The AH-64 Apache is the U.S. Army’s primary attack helicopter and one of the most recognizable military helicopters in service.

The twin-engine, four-bladed aircraft uses a tandem cockpit with a pilot and co-pilot/gunner. It is designed to perform missions including armed reconnaissance and close combat operations in daytime, nighttime and adverse-weather conditions.
