The Emirates A350 Orlando service will begin on Nov. 1, 2026, when the airline puts the Airbus A350 on its daily Dubai–Orlando route and Orlando becomes the first US gateway to get the type on scheduled flights.

The A350 will replace the Boeing 777 that has flown the route since Emirates started serving Orlando in 2015, according to the airline and WFTV. It also brings Emirates’ Premium Economy cabin to the Central Florida market for the first time.

The aircraft will fly as EK219 and EK220, and Emirates says it will have 298 seats in three cabins.

What Changes on the Emirates A350 Orlando Route

The daily flights keep their numbers. EK219 leaves Dubai at 3:05 a.m. and lands in Orlando at 10:20 a.m. EK220 leaves Orlando at 8:20 p.m. and reaches Dubai at 7:10 p.m. the next day, all in local time, according to AeroRoutes’ schedule listing. Emirates’ release gives the same Dubai–Orlando times.

Emirates Vice President for the USA Matthew Jones said travelers can now fly to Dubai with the latest in-flight amenities across all three cabin classes, and that Premium Economy is expanding to more routes in the network, WFTV reported.

For passengers leaving Orlando, the new aircraft adds a middle option between Economy and Business on long flights to Dubai and on to more than 90 destinations in Emirates’ network where the product is offered, WFTV reported.

Inside the Emirates A350

Emirates says the A350 has 298 seats: 32 Business Class seats in a 1-2-1 layout, 28 Premium Economy seats and 238 Economy seats. There is no First Class cabin, according to Upgraded Points.

Emirates says each Premium Economy seat is 19.5 inches wide, with generous legroom and recline, a six-way adjustable headrest, a footrest, in-seat power and a 13.3-inch entertainment screen. Premium Economy passengers also get a welcome drink, seasonal meals served on Royal Doulton china and a dedicated check-in area at Dubai International Airport, the airline said.

The A350 is less densely packed than the 777-200LR it replaces on this route, Boltflight reported. Premium Economy is seven seats across and Economy is nine across, against eight and ten on the 777-200LR.

What It Means for Emirates’ US Network

Boltflight noted that Emirates has so far used the A350-900 sparingly on its US network, including a short earlier deployment to Boston, and that the Emirates A350 Orlando flights would be the aircraft’s first sustained US service.

The change is also part of Emirates’ Premium Economy rollout in the United States, according to Aviation A2Z. Emirates has not said which US routes will receive the A350 next in the material reviewed.
