Piaggio Avanti EVO will be on display at NBAA-BACE in Las Vegas from Oct. 20–22, the Italian manufacturer announced Oct. 13. The P.180 aircraft will appear at Henderson Executive Airport’s Aircraft Connection event.
The planned appearance coincides with 40 years since the original P.180 first flew. Piaggio is also describing plans to raise production and continue development of the future Avanti NX variant.
The event announcement is a preview rather than a report of a new order or certification. Those developments would require their own supporting documentation.

Piaggio Avanti EVO Display Set for Henderson Airport
At a static display, visitors can inspect cabin layout and aircraft design more directly than in photographs or specifications. Piaggio Avanti EVO promotion at Henderson is therefore intended to support product discussions, not merely to announce attendance at the Las Vegas convention center. Any demonstration flight will depend on event arrangements. The October release does not provide a list of confirmed demonstration passengers or prospective transactions, and it would be inaccurate to convert expressions of interest into sales.
Piaggio Aerospace said on Oct. 13 that its P.180 Avanti EVO would be displayed during NBAA-BACE, the business aviation convention scheduled for Oct. 20–22 in Las Vegas. The aircraft will be part of the Aircraft Connection display at nearby Henderson Executive Airport.
The company identified Booth AC 22 as the location where visitors can meet its team. The event includes a static aircraft display, with the manufacturer saying demonstration flights may be arranged. This is a planned appearance, not a claim that a new Avanti model has already been certified or delivered.
Piaggio expects the show to provide direct exposure to operators and potential customers. Business aviation conventions bring together manufacturers, service providers and aircraft buyers, but attendance at a show does not by itself constitute a firm aircraft order.
Forty Years After the Original P.180 First Flight
The exhibition coincides with the 40th anniversary of the P.180’s first flight, according to Piaggio. The distinctive aircraft uses a three-lifting-surface configuration and rear-mounted propellers, features that separate it visually from many conventional business turboprops.
The Avanti EVO is an evolution of that design. The manufacturer describes its performance, efficiency and cabin comfort as selling points. Those are company descriptions; comparisons with rival aircraft would require standardized operating conditions and independently comparable data.
Piaggio said more than 30 aircraft were expected at the Henderson Executive Airport showcase. The number refers to the wider Aircraft Connection exhibition, not to a Piaggio production or delivery total.
Production Plans and Avanti NX Development
Piaggio Aerospace said it is increasing P.180 production in response to demand while continuing development of the Avanti NX. The announcement does not state that the Avanti NX has entered commercial service or received regulatory certification.
The company describes itself as an Italian manufacturer involved in aircraft, aircraft engines, maintenance and support. Its Oct. 13 statement lists a workforce of more than 675 people across its operations. That context helps explain why the event matters beyond a single static display.
The manufacturer announcement provides the exhibition dates, display location and program update. Any new order or technical announcement at NBAA-BACE should be covered separately after it is issued.
